After successful releases like Mind Doodles and Feeling Better, Gabriel finds his artistic identity in indie pop with his solo debut album EVERYTHING YOU CAN SEE FROM UP HERE. The album takes listeners on an intimate journey through the thoughts and emotions that shaped his life over the past years.
The album's title track, EVERYTHING YOU CAN SEE FROM UP HERE is the most personal of the twelve songs. It's an ode to his late best friend Marieke, who was his counterpart in the love for art and music.
More than just a song about grief, it's an honest reflection on loss - and at the same time, a search for peace in mourning and for grounding in understanding. It's both a farewell and a new beginning.
